Women's Work in the 19th Century at Colvin Run Mill
Explore the labor of women, like those who lived and worked at Colvin Run Mill, that was invaluable to families, communities, and the United States. At this event, the work 19th century women did at home and in the labor market comes alive as you try some of the tasks from the 1800s, including baking, candle making, sewing and washing clothes the old-fashioned way. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. (6-Adult)
