Mindful Wildcrafting: The Art of Remembering our Connection to Mother Earth Workshop

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 08/25/2022
Learn about the art of wildcrafting and connecting with Mother Earth with Tatiana Eaves. Join us for a workshop on the connections between food sovereignty, climate change, and the practice of foraging wild plants, along with how to identify and respectfully, with intentionality, gather and harvest wild foods. We will have opportunity to learn from our best teachers, those within the natural world, with the incorporation of traditional Indigenous teachings about how to honor the non-human life existing all around us. All supplies will be provided. Just be prepared to remember, with an open heart and an open mind.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

About the Instructor: Tatiana Eaves (@A.Virosa) is many things; she’s an ecologist, wildcrafter, creative, policy analyst, activist, writer, communicator, and lifetime learner. With her multifaceted background, she works to not only protect the rights of human and non-human life on this planet, but to bring people back to the remembrance that all life is interconnected. She believes in empowering people with knowledge and to remind them of their own personal power to enact change in their lives, their community, and beyond. Her goals are in bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet by working collaboratively with others to remember our connection to the Earth and each other.
