Kalanidhi Dance presents the world premiere of Bhoomi (Earth) as part of the 2018 Local Dance Commissioning Project.

Based in the traditional Indian dance form Kuchipudi, Bhoomi explores humanity's complex and evolving relationship with the earth. Viewed through the lens of Indian philosophical thought, the piece explores the tension between human progress and environmental sustainability and considers whether the external environment can be a reflection of internal balance.
Performances take place on the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. No tickets required.
