Guided by Jewish values and heritage, the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center (EDCJCC) engages individuals and families through its cultural, recreational, educational, and social justice programs by welcoming people of all backgrounds to connect, learn, serve and be entertained together in ways that reflect the unique role of the Center in the nation’s capital.
The Edlavitch DCJCC is home to the nation's largest and most prominent Jewish theater, the largest Jewish cultural film and musical festival, award-winning arts programming year-round, a state-of-the-art Fitness & Wellness Center and indoor pool, the Morris Cafritz Center for Social Responsibility, and early childhood, youth and family programs including a year-round preschool for ages 18 months - 5 years old.
Plan your next birthday party, organizational meeting, special event or overnight stay at the Edlavitch DCJCC. Conveniently located in Dupont Circle and walking distance to many major attractions. Our spaces can accommodate anything from small intimate receptions to large events. The 1926 historic five-story, 60,000 square foot facility is fully wheelchair accessible and open to all.
