Discover the World of Communication classes: An exciting commuter program for high school students and rising high school students.

Discover the World of Communication offers professional pre-college summer courses for high school and rising high school students through American University’s award-winning School of Communication. All classes are taught in person by American University faculty and industry professionals on Washington, DC’s beautiful American University campus.

Classes empower high school students to expand their minds and broaden their creativity in an engaging commuter program.

Presented across two sessions in July, each session offers nine days of morning and afternoon classes.

Session One: July 1-13, with no classes on July 4-7.

Session Two: July 15-25.
