About the Seminar
Many players believe they need to memorize dozens of opening lines to get a good position. In reality, understanding a few key opening principles will take you much further. In this webinar, Austin will explain the ideas behind strong opening play and show you how to make good decisions even when you’re out of theory.
Topics include:
1) The essential opening principles every player should know
2) How to develop your pieces efficiently and fight for the center
3) What to do when your opponent plays an unfamiliar opening
4) Common opening mistakes and how to avoid them
The webinar will focus on practical decision-making rather than memorization, helping players build confidence in the opening and reach stronger middlegame positions.
