Aikido Shobukan Dojo was founded by Mitsugi Saotome, Shihan and his students, and remains as a major center for the study and practice of Aikido. We engage in training throughout the entire year; with morning, evening and weekend classes. Students from abroad are welcome to visit us and train at any time. The dojo supports seminars ranging from the annual Cherry Blossom Seminar, to ASU Summer Camp.
Youth classes are held during the regular school session, September through June, with training holidays following national holidays. If you would like more information on enrolling a child or teenager in classes please stop in the dojo during a class to observe and speak with one of our instructors for this program. The best recommended time to observe and be introduced to this program is Saturday's Youth class.
